Search the Wynne High School Library card catalog by going to wynneschools.org and then clicking on Online Research Center, then click on Destiny. The Librarian is Sandra Jones the Library Assistant is Marci Langston.

Our Ink Club students traded short stories this week for peer reviews as they continue to sharpen their craft. They’re building momentum toward publishing an anthology that will showcase their work and creativity. We can’t wait to celebrate their growth as young writers.

Congrats, Bo!

Congratulations to Bo Norris! Bo is the winner of Kara’s Tuesday Takeover Horror Story Contest. The title of the winning short story is Will of the Flesh. Bo, be sure to stop by the Cross County Library between 1pm - 5pm today or 9am - 1pm tomorrow to pick up your prize! Your WHS homecoming “Ice, Ice Baby” attire was cooler than cool!

How long have you worked for the Cross County Library? Almost 2 months

Sum yourself up in three sentences.: I am very quiet but also friendly. I am kind and helpful. I am very dedicated and passionate about my work.

Three things I LOVE!:
1. Reading
2. Spending time with friends and family
3. Astrophysics

What's your favorite thing about working at the Cross County Library?: I love meeting new people and helping people.

How do you like to spend your time outside of work?: I like to spend my time outside of work with family and friends.

If you could have one superpower, what would you choose?: I would choose the ability to teleport because I could go anywhere I wanted super quickly.

What was the last book you read?: I am currently reading House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas.

What is something you saw recently that made you smile?: I saw a dog with a tutu on.

How long have you worked for the Cross County Library? Three weeks.

Sum yourself up in three sentences.: I like to express myself through music and art. Nature is a big part of my life and I spend lots of time hiking and camping. I like to take challenges and turn them into creative opportunities.

Three things I LOVE!:
1. My cat
2. Carrot cake
3. Painting

What's your favorite thing about working at the Cross County Library?: Being able to help others.

How do you like to spend your time outside of work?: I like to read, binge TV shows, camp, and spend time with friends.

If you could have one superpower, what would you choose?: I would choose pyrokinesis!

What was the last book you read?: I am currently reading After School Lessons for Unripe Apples - a romance webtoon, but the last physical book I read was Obsession.

What is something you saw recently that made you smile?: I saw a post about how male anteaters carry their wife and children on their backs.
