"Lower Merion is the only home I have ever known. Growing up in Wynnewood and attending Lower Merion public schools, I have come to value and treasure our quality of life. But unchecked development, the erosion of township services, and quickly disappearing open space threatens this quality of life, and the danger of los
ing what sets us apart as a truly special place to live – so close to a city center, yet a world apart – looms ever nearer. It’s not just a matter of supporting or opposing specific projects or endeavors. Rather we must ensure that the values of Ward 7 residents are well represented and that their opinions are actually heard by their Commissioner. That’s why I am running to be the next Commissioner from Ward 7. I believe a representative is supposed to do just that – represent. This is the kind of Commissioner I will be: a leader who is responsive to the needs and concerns of my neighbors and an effective communicator of Ward 7’s vision for the future. This will begin by opening the lines of communication with Ward 7’s residents. As the Ward 7 Commissioner, it will be my job to seek you out, respond to your needs promptly with dedication and vigor, and to protect and advocate for your rights as a resident. It will also be my job to help bring a new spirit of cooperation and innovation to the Lower Merion Board of Commissioners. I will strive to guarantee Lower Merion Township always acts in a manner respectful of the community’s desire to preserve our quality of life. We can get good things done – on time and in a cost-effective manner. I also believe I can help stem the tide of poorly planned and excessive development facing all of Lower Merion. Residents of Ward 7 have made their voices heard, and it is time they have a responsive Commissioner who is ready and willing to fight for them.
