I am communicating with local, state and federal officials regarding the U.S. DOJ letter to Godfrey-Lee Public Schools dated February 18th. I am most troubled by the burden this will place on honest, hard-working, dedicated public school teachers and administrators who will be forced to divert attention away from the children in Godfrey-Lee’s classrooms. My primary concern is for the education of each student and I will look for ways to minimize the negative impact this federal action will have on the kids, their families, and our community.
