“Leonard is the brightest comet all year. Here’s how to see it.”

We’re glad to see that NPR has finally acknowledged what our customers have known for years: Leonard’s shines brighter than anything else in the sky.

To find the Comet Leonard, NPR recommends that you find the star Arcturus, located in the constellation Boötes, and then look half the width of a clenched fist to the left of Arcturus using a telescope or binoculars. And if you miss seeing Comet Leonard because it’s cloudy, you’ll have to wait another 80,000 years when it next returns to our solar system to see it again.

Shame on your convoluted instructions, NPR. Instead of following all that drivel, just head to any of the seven Leonard’s locations during our convenient hours (wait 80,000 years??? HA!) and see in person just how brightly we shine.

Can anyone remember the captions that Jerry, Elaine, and Kramer suggested for the Ziggy / New Yorker cartoon?

It’s no myth that Leonard’s Auto Tag Service has been Northeast PA’s leading Auto Tag and Title agency for over 60 years, providing vehicle and driver solutions to NEPA for 3 generations. 60 years ago, founder Leonard Stephen Selenski would have provided those solutions to his local community from his home-office on Second Street in Wyoming.

Today, we still treat every client like a close neighbor, and we strive to do whatever it takes to follow the example Leonard set so many years ago. Family legend, which has also been verified by the business’s longest tenured customers, recounts stories of clients arriving at the front door of the office on hot summer days to be greeted by a sign instructing them to “head around back.” There, Leonard would finish up paperwork under the sun with a cold beverage. Regardless of his day’s attire or the interaction’s location, neighbors trusted Leonard to navigate their most difficult challenges, whether it was a car purchase or lapsed insurance, or a young couple’s exchange of wedding vows while he served as Justice of the Peace.

Then, to ensure that the local community was being appropriately supported, Angie Selenski would ride the Martz bus from Wilkes-Barre to Harrisburg twice a week to physically messenger title and tag work to the Department of Transportation.

Sixty years later, Leonard is no longer doing paperwork while wearing bathing trunks, and Angie isn’t commuting to Harrisburg, but clients still trust Leonard’s Auto Tag Service to solve their most difficult tag, title, driver’s license, and insurance complexities. George: “I only get my documents notarized online!”

Mike: “I like going in person for my notary services! Leonard’s and their seven locations are so convenient to use, and everyone is so friendly. I like being social and talking to my notaries.”

George: “Anyone that still goes in person for notary services is a fool. If you’re worried about being social, you can still talk to your notary through a we**am with Leonard’s online services. Plus you don’t even need to wear pants during the online notary session. I’d like to see you try to get that power of attorney document notarized without wearing pants.”

Mike: “You’re a creep. I’m happy to wear pants and get my documents notarized in person. That lets me learn about all the other services Leonard’s offers. They do so much more than just notarize. You might even wonder why they spend so much time advertising their online notary business when it’s just one of the plethora of things they do.”

George and Mike may not have solved their notary preferences, but that’s only because both men are right in their own ways. We hope you use whichever notary services you’re most comfortable using.
