Families are encouraged to attend a virtual Parent Information Session on Tuesday, June 9 at 9:00 a.m. via Zoom to learn more about the new Before and After School program.

Midland is excited to partner with Innovation Learning to launch a new Before and After School Program at Midland Elementary, providing flexible care options for families and engaging opportunities for students before and after the school day.

The Midland FFA Floriculture Team placed 5th at Districts and advances to State competition on Tuesday, June 9. A few Midland students are in the building over Summer Break, preparing for the big day!

Floriculture is much more than creating beautiful floral arrangements. Students use math to calculate materials, costs, spray applications, and other real-world horticulture tasks. Team members believe the state contest better matches their strengths and experience.

At State, competitors will:

🌼 Identify nutritional and environmental disorders
🌼 Identify insects and pests
🌼 Identify 51 plant species
🌼 Create an individual corsage
🌼 Complete a team design event (6 items in 40 minutes)
🌼Take a comprehensive floriculture knowledge exam

Midland is pleased to announce a partnership with Innovation Learning to launch a new Before and After School Program at Midland Elementary, offering flexible care options for families.

The program will provide engaging learning experiences, supportive relationships, and opportunities for students to grow before and after the school day.

A virtual Parent Information Session is scheduled for Tuesday, June 9 at 9:00 a.m. over Zoom.
