🏍️🎗️ Join Us This Saturday for the Ride for a Cure! 🎗️🏍️

The Washington County, Virginia Sheriff's Office, in partnership with Team Cade, invites you to participate in the St. Jude Benefit Ride for a Cure on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

Whether you ride a motorcycle, drive a Jeep, or simply want to support a great cause, we encourage you to come out and be part of this special event. Participants will enjoy a scenic ride through Virginia, Tennessee, and North Carolina while helping raise funds for the children and families served by St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Every mile ridden helps make a difference in the lives of children battling serious illnesses. We hope to see a great turnout as we come together to support this incredible cause.

Today, our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of Deputy Logan Utt.

Please join me in praying for his family, friends, brothers and sisters in law enforcement, and all those whose lives were touched by his service and sacrifice. No words can truly ease the pain of losing someone who dedicated his life to protecting others, but we can honor his memory by remembering the impact he made on those around him.

May God wrap His loving arms around those left behind and provide comfort, strength, and peace during this difficult time.

As Scripture reminds us, "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." (2 Corinthians 5:8)

Rest easy, Deputy Logan Utt. Your watch on earth has ended, but your legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved you.

May your soul rest in the presence of our Lord and Savior.

We haven’t forgotten. Not one ounce of respect has been lost. Every year, every month, every week, every day, every hour, every minute, and every second, our respect continues to grow for those who fought for our freedom.
