Agape is open the second Saturday (10-Noon) and fourth Thursday (Noon-2) of each month for food distribution. During November and December, Thursday distributions are on the third Thursday due to the holidays. Who can receive food? Agape is open to any Wythe County resident, regardless of income. On your first visit, you will need a photo ID and proof that you live in Wythe County (utility bill,
for example). On each return visit, you will need to bring your photo ID. How can I get involved with Agape? The easiest way to get involved is to volunteer on a distribution day. Volunteers may arrive up to two hours before distribution begins. We have other volunteer opportunities that we’re happy to tell you about when you visit the pantry. No sign up is required to volunteer; just show up! Please note: We do ask that volunteers under the age of 18 be accompanied by an adult. Is Agape a community service site? Yes, volunteers can complete hours for all types of community service at Agape. If you need documentation of your service hours, please bring along any paperwork you need signed. Agape is an approved site with the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice. What can be donated to Agape? (Your cash donations allow us to meet our food need each month!)
