Greene County is preparing to open the application process for the FY27 Demolition and Site Revitalization Program. Greene County will accept applications from local jurisdictions for eligible demolition and site revitalization projects within their communities.

We encourage each jurisdiction to begin identifying potential projects now, and to consider how the proposed demolition will contribute to the long-term revitalization of the property. Potential
projects may include vacant, abandoned, blighted, or nuisance structures where demolition would address an identified community need and support future redevelopment or productive reuse of the property.

Congratulations to Radiance Technologies on its continued growth in Beavercreek! 🎉

The Alabama-based, employee-owned defense contractor plans to expand its Pentagon Boulevard operations with additional office and laboratory space, creating 60 new positions and nearly $7 million in new annual payroll, while retaining 391 existing jobs.

Radiance’s continued investment is a great reflection of the strength of the Dayton region’s defense and aerospace ecosystem, particularly the talent and opportunities connected to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

From establishing its first Dayton-area office in 2004 to nearly 400 employees in the region today, Radiance has become an important part of Greene County’s growing defense industry. We’re excited to see their continued investment and success in Beavercreek!

We are pleased to announce the award of the contract for Universal Waste Abatement, Interior Demolition, and Site Restoration of the former Applied Sciences buildings at 141 W. Xenia Avenue in Cedarville to BELFOR USA Group, Inc. (BELFOR Property Restoration).

This important first step will prepare the site for its next chapter, breathing new life into these former research and development facilities while laying the groundwork for expanded recreational opportunities that will benefit the community for years to come.

Many residents may remember spending summer days swimming, diving, and relaxing at Sportsman's Lake throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Today, Silver Cup Lake Adventures is leading the effort to restore this scenic destination to its former glory while creating a fresh identity with new amenities, attractions, and outdoor experiences for residents and visitors alike.

We're excited to watch this transformation unfold and look forward to sharing updates as the project progresses!
