Can you handle a barking dog at 7:00 AM?
Are you comfortable being called because someone’s dog has decided it’s time for an unscheduled neighborhood adventure? 🐕💨

Greene County is looking for an Animal Control Officer to help protect animals, respond to citizen concerns, enforce animal control laws, investigate animal cruelty and neglect, and—yes—occasionally chase down a four-legged fugitive. 🐕💨

This job includes:
🐶 Responding to roaming, stray & nuisance animals
🐱 Handling animal-related complaints
🚨 Investigating cruelty & neglect
📋 Enforcing Ohio laws & local ordinances
🏠 Helping with shelter operations & adoptions
📞 Answering questions from animal-loving citizens
⚖️ Preparing reports and appearing in court
🧼 Cleaning, sanitizing & maintaining the shelter
🌦️ Working in the Ohio weather… because apparently animals don't care if it's raining, snowing, or 95° outside.

What you’ll need:
✔️ High school diploma/GED
✔️ At least 12 months of experience handling animals
✔️ Valid Ohio Driver’s License
