🌱📚 Something magical is growing at the Yachats Public Library this summer! 📚🌱

Registration forms for our Summer Reading Program are now available on the children’s table at the library and will remain out through the rest of June and into early July.

Simply fill out a registration form and return it by leaving it on my desk, handing it to a volunteer at the front desk, or giving it directly to me if I’m at the library. Then get ready for a summer filled with books, creativity, nature, and fun prizes along the way!

✨ Each Monday from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, we’ll gather for stories, crafts, activities, and plenty of opportunities to explore, create, and connect. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to stay, participate, and enjoy the fun alongside their kiddos. This is a community-centered program where everyone can get involved!

We’re also looking for teen and adult volunteers to help make this program extra special! Volunteers will assist with crafts, activities, reading with children, and helping during our Monday gatherings from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM.

This June, we’re celebrating Curiosity and all the wonderful places it can take us. From ocean creatures and bugs to discoveries and new worlds, we’ll spend the month exploring, creating, and learning together through stories, crafts, and imagination.

Join me each Friday at the Yachats Public Library in June from 1–2 PM for Storytime and a simple craft inspired by the week’s theme!

Craft: Make a Bug Friend

Craft: Decorate a Magnifying Glass

This program is perfect for young children and their grown-ups. Families, homeschoolers, caregivers, grandparents, and curious minds of all kinds are welcome!

Curiosity is where learning begins. It helps us explore new ideas, discover new passions, and see the world with fresh eyes. We hope you’ll join us as we wonder, create, read, and explore together this month.

🌸 Bloom Bravely in May 🌸

May feels a little extra special to me this year. Not only are we celebrating growth, courage, and becoming who we are meant to be, but it is also my birthday month 💛✨

Join me each Friday in the children’s section of the library in May 2026 from 1–2 PM for a gentle, joyful storytime and super simple crafts designed to spark creativity, kindness, and confidence.
