Are you ready to take your fire service training to the next level?
Clark County Fire District 13 is seeking motivated individuals to join our Volunteer or Resident Volunteer Firefighter Programs — an immersive, hands-on opportunity to live, train, and respond as part of our team.
Position Overview:
> Volunteer Positions: 24 hours a month, minimum in station shift time , plus regular weekly drill attendance and community events involvement. .
> Resident Volunteer Firefighters live at the station and are assigned:
One 24-hour shift per week
An additional 12 hours dedicated to training, response, and community events
Postions are provided a nominal stipend.
These position are ideal for entry level individuals pursuing a fire service career or seeking valuable experience in emergency response.
Requirements:
>Must be 18 years of age or older
>Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
>Have a high school diploma or GED
>Be able to meet physical (CPAT) and medical standards for firefighting
>Pass a background check and drug screening
>Commit to scheduled shifts, training, and participation in district activities
