Thank You, Eddie Settle for NC Senate.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Senator Eddie Settle for securing funding to support all of Yadkin County’s fire departments and the rescue squad.

This funding will help provide critical resources and support vital operations that have a tremendous impact on the safety and well-being of our community. Our fire and rescue personnel work tirelessly to be there when our neighbors need them most, and investments like this help ensure they have the resources needed to continue that mission.

We truly appreciate Senator Settle’s support of Yadkin County and his commitment to our local fire and rescue organizations.

Several of our members had the opportunity to attend the 2026 South Atlantic Fire Rescue Expo and spend the weekend learning about the latest equipment, technology, and products available to the fire service.

We were also proud to have our engine on the showroom floor, giving us the chance to showcase our department and talk with vendors from across the industry. Thank you to Atlantic Emergency Solutions and Chris Grace. Our members had some great conversations, checked out new equipment, and explored options that could help us better serve our community. We also had the opportunity to meet Little Firefighter Quinn as he was checking out our new engine.

We appreciate all of the vendors who took the time to speak with our members and share what they have to offer. Events like SAFRE are a great opportunity to learn, make connections, and bring new ideas back to our department.

We are excited to have our new Engine 12 on display at the South Atlantic Fire Rescue Expo in Raleigh, NC this week.
