Yadkin County Government has four Committee vacancies on the Joint Adult Care Home & Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee. You must be a resident of Yadkin County and at least 18 years of age to be considered for appointment to the Committee. If you're interested in learning more about this opportunity, please review the attachments which provide more information about the Committee. In the attachments is an application that must be completed, if you're interested in being considered for the Committee. Completed applications can be sent to Tanya Gentry, County Clerk, via e-mail at [email protected] or hand-delivered to her at 217 E. Willow Street, Yadkinville, NC 27055. The Board of County Commissioners will be responsible for selecting candidates to serve on the Committee. Operations Schedule Update:

The County will be adjusting this evening's operations schedule due to inclement winter weather. Below are the following evening county scheduling changes:

The Planning Board and Board of Adjustment Meetings have been cancelled for this evening. These meetings will be rescheduled for January 12, 2026.
All Solid Waste Convenience Sites will close at 5:30 pm this evening. Normal operations at Solid Waste Convenience Sites will resume tomorrow (12/09).
