We distribute food to those requesting our assistance on Friday mornings from 8:30-12 at the corner of S. 7th Street and Central Avenue (near State Fair Park, just south of the Henry Beauchamp Community Center).

Food Week of Action (October 15-22) is around the corner!
FAN is hosting Food Week of Action next week in partnership with Presbyterian Hunger Program and ELCA Advocacy. During this week and beyond, we celebrate people and faith communities in our network for their tireless work to end hunger. We encourage you to continue your advocacy to tackle the root causes of food insecurity.

As one opportunity, we are hosting an Anti-Hunger Advocacy Webinar on Wednesday, October 18th, 6-7pm (Pacific time). The webinar will highlight challenges for food justice faced by marginalized communities and advocacy priorities both in state and federal legislation. It will feature updated information on nutrition programs and anti-hunger bills. Please join us and bring your passion and questions!

Our Story

We distribute food to those requesting our assistance on Friday mornings from 9-12 at our facilities at 703 Central Avenue (near State Fair Park, just south of the Henry Beauchamp Community Center).

Our story was very well described by the words of one-time Friday morning volunteer and regular community writer for RootedValley.com, Mrs. Andreana Gamache:
