The West Valley Fire Department is updating our Strategic Plan, and we want to hear directly from you.

Join us for a Community Listening Session to share your thoughts on:
🔥 Emergency response times
🚑 Fire & EMS services
🌲 Wildfire preparedness
🏘 Future priorities for your fire department

These are informal, open conversations focused on the future of emergency services in our community.

🐴🐶🐱 Don't Forget Your Animals in Your Wildfire Plan 🚨

When wildfire threatens, every minute counts—including for your pets and livestock.

Now is the time to prepare:
✅ Build a 3-day emergency kit for each animal
✅ Keep carriers, halters, leashes, and trailers ready to go
✅ Ensure identification and vaccination records are current
✅ Know where you'll take animals if evacuation becomes necessary
✅ Practice loading and evacuating animals before an emergency

Animals are often the most difficult part of an evacuation. Practicing now can save valuable time when it matters most.

If you wait until the smoke is visible, you've waited too long.
