Today we remember the 343 firefighters, the 2,977 people who lost their lives, and the survivors battling 9/11-related illnesses.

September 11, 2001, is a day that lives forever in our nation’s memory. We will not forget.

Yamhill Fire has sent two members of the district as part of a structural task force. Capt. Spencer went out as a strike team leader trainee and A/O Mark Johnson went as an A/O (apparatus operator) on Carlton Fires Heavy 7. They left at midnight last night best of luck to them and we hope for a safe return.

𝐂𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞: ODF Incident Management Team 3 has been deployed to the Copperfield Fire near Chiloquin, which is now estimated to be 1,500 -2,000 acres. The team will in-brief tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. and will enter unified command with OSFM Red Team of the fire at 6:00 p.m. tomorrow evening.

Thank you for all the donations that have been brought into the fire station. The firefighters have what they need and are being taken care of. We are no longer in any need for additional donations, but if you still would like to donate, we recommend the Gg's House which is a local organization.

We truly appreciate all the support we have received during the Lee Falls Fire.
