Senior Center Family, we need your help! SHARE, SHARE, SHARE!

We currently have 369 Gadabout members, and our goal is to reach 400 members by December 1st! That means we only need 31 more members to help us cross the finish line.

Invite a friend, neighbor, church member, or family member to join and help us grow the Gadabout Travel & Newsletter Program. By becoming a member, you'll stay informed about upcoming trips, activities, special events, and everything happening at the Caswell County Senior Center.

Hey Senior Center Family! We need your input!

We're considering offering a fun Fall Sip & Paint class featuring sparkling, non-alcoholic beverages and plenty of creativity! 🍂🖌️

The best part? Everyone will paint on a pre-drawn canvas, so no artistic experience is needed. Just come ready to relax, socialize, and have fun creating your own masterpiece!

September is Su***de Awareness Month. 💜

Did you know that su***de was responsible for 48,824 deaths in the United States in 2024, the most recent national data available from the CDC?

Mental health challenges are also common among older adults. It is estimated that about 20% of adults age 55 and older experience some type of mental health concern, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, or other mental health disorders.

Always remember that you never know what someone may be going through. A kind word, a smile, holding the door open, or simply taking a moment to check on someone can make a world of difference. Let's work together to spread kindness, compassion, and understanding, not just this month, but every day.

🤠 Cowboy Day was a huge success! A heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers who helped serve, decorate, and make the day so special. Special thanks to Tonya Terrell for providing the beautiful backdrop, fun games, and prize. We had a fantastic time and are already looking forward to saddling up and seeing everyone again next year!
