Congratulations to Supervisor Hunter Gauldin for completing the PSAP Managers Training Program through Richmond Community College. Hunter spent 280 hours learning the ins and outs of 9-1-1 creating mock budgets and expenditure reports. Hunter is the 4th in our agency to complete the program and several more are enrolled. TYFYS! Your hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed.

This morning we had the pleasure of hosting Senator Jonah Garson in our center. Along with Senator Garson were Commissioners Ingram and Smith. We discussed the importance of classification of our Telecommunicators as well as the mental and physical well-being of staff. Visits like these are vital for our Representatives at the local and Federal level to see the services that 9-1-1 provides. It also gives us a chance to showcase the ever-changing technology in our centers. Thank you Senator Garson for your visit!

💙🚓 Thank You for Joining Us at National Night Out! 🚑🚒

This past Tuesday, members of Caswell County 911 Communications had a wonderful time participating in National Night Out at the Parks and Recreation Center!

It was a pleasure meeting so many members of our community, answering questions about what happens behind the scenes at 911, and sharing resources that help educate both children and adults on when and how to call 911. We loved seeing so many smiling faces, meeting future first responders, and even making a few furry friends along the way! 🐾

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, visited with our telecommunicators, picked up some goodies, and helped make the evening such a success. Events like these are a great reminder that strong communities are built through connection, education, and teamwork.

We also want to thank everyone who helped organize another fantastic National Night Out. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our community—both behind the headset and out in the community.

📞 When every second counts, we’re always here to answer the call. 💛

☀️ Catching Up with the Positivity Project! ☀️

Okay, okay… we admit it. 😅 Our Positivity Project Committee has been a little behind on sharing our monthly bulletin boards—but the boards themselves have still been getting plenty of love! 💛 So, before August gets away from us too, here’s a little look back at what’s been happening at Caswell County 911! 📞🎧

🧠 MAY | It’s Okay To…
May was all about Mental Health Awareness Month and reminding our team that it’s okay to have hard days, ask for help, speak up, try again, and NOT be okay. Working in 911 can be tough, so sometimes we all need the reminder to give ourselves—and each other—a little grace. 💚
We also got to celebrate Jerri, Crystal, Hunter, and Madison and their May birthdays! 🎂🥳

🌊 JUNE | Happy to Sea You!
Summer arrived, so naturally we headed straight to the beach… or at least our bulletin board did! 😂🏖️ We brought in the sunshine, surfboards, sea creatures, and plenty of tropical vibes to welcome warmer weather.
June also gave us the opportunity to celebrate Laney’s THREE YEARS of service with Caswell County 911! 🎧💛

🇺🇸 JULY | Freedom Rings… So Does 911!
July was RED, WHITE & BLUE from top to bottom! ❤️🤍💙 We celebrated the Fourth of July with a little 911 twist and recognized all the public safety professionals who continue answering the call while everyone else is enjoying the fireworks. 🎆📞
We also celebrated Kayla’s birthday on July 8th 🎂 followed the very next day by another milestone—TWO YEARS of service with Caswell County 911! 🎉🎧 Talk about a reason for a two-day celebration!

🍦 AUGUST | We’re Ready for a SWEET Summer!
With North Carolina apparently determined to cook us alive this summer, we’re doing our best to cool things down with POPSICLES! 😂☀️🍧

And August brought a new member to the Positivity Project family…

🪿 Meet Goldie the Goose! 📚✏️🍎
She’s silly, she’s stylish, she’s ready for back-to-school season, and she’s officially joined the crew! We’re pretty sure she has no certifications whatsoever, but morale is important too. 😂

Last but certainly not least, August gives us the chance to recognize Josh and his NINE YEARS of service to Caswell County 911! 🎉9️⃣🎧 Nine years of answering the call, serving our community, supporting our center, and being part of the 911 family is absolutely something worth celebrating!

Four months. Four bulletin boards. A whole lot of birthdays, milestones, popsicles, patriotism, positivity…and apparently now one goose. 😂🪿

Here’s to celebrating the people behind the headset and finding little reasons to make our workplace a little brighter every month. 💛🎧
