Beautiful morning on Kings Bay! โ˜€๏ธ

Our crew teamed up with Crystal River Fire Department Marine 1 for some joint training where crews ran towing evolutions and practiced different methods of passing a P6 portable dewatering pump to a vessel in need.

Keeping our teams proficient and ready, one training at a time ๐Ÿ›Ÿ ๐Ÿš’

Happy 4th of July! Today, we celebrate the birth of our nation and the freedoms we cherish. The men and women of the U.S. Coast Guard remain on watch across our borders, where defense of America begins. As the nation's finest maritime fighting force, we are applying our full range of capabilities to control, secure, and defend our borders and maritime approaches. We continue operations to facilitate commerce vital to economic security and strategic mobility, safeguarding a Marine Transportation System that is instrumental in restoring U.S. maritime dominance.

As an Armed Service, we are proud to stand alongside our fellow servicemembers, and extend our gratitude to all who have dedicated their lives to defending our nation. Your service and sacrifice make our freedom possible.

This holiday, please remember to celebrate responsibly and stay safe on the water.

From the U.S. Coast Guard, have a safe and happy Independence Day!

This week, weโ€™re recognizing BM2 Webb! With 4.5 years of service in the Coast Guard, BM2 has been an integral part of our crew since June 2020. A fun fact: BM2 originally reported to Yankeetown as a FN (Fireman) and has since developed into a key member of deck department acting as UTM and SPC-SW-II Coxswain and Boarding Team Member.
