Yankton Food For Thought

Yankton Food For Thought Yankton Sack Pack Program provides weekend meals for over 450 students weekly in the Yankton Schools.

Yankton Food For Thought was recently incorporated so that it could be more descriptive of its mission. To provide food and nutritional education for school aged children and their families so that they can achieve! Yankton Food For Thought will be the non-profit organization that will manage the Sack Pack and School Food Pantry programs.

We would be grateful for any extra garden produce you could share. This will help families with children in Yankton schools who are food insecure.Bring to the south end of Calvary Baptist between 8:30 and 9 a. m. On Tuesday September 1.

If anyone has extra garden items they would like to donate, the pantry is Tuesday Aug 4th. Bring to Calvary Baptist South end by the wire fence. Someone will be there from 8am to 9:30 am and 3pm to 5pm.
