A huge thank you to Miss South Dakota Junior Pre-Teen, Laura Villanueva, for donating diapers and wipes to our Diaper Depot! 💙

Later this week, Laura will be handing off her crown in Madison, Wisconsin, and we are so grateful she chose to make a difference for local children during her year of service. Best of luck, Laura!

Our Diaper Depot is completely funded through community donations, and we are currently running low on sizes 5, 6, and 7 diapers. If you'd like to continue the kindness Laura has shown, consider hosting a diaper drive with your workplace, church, school, or organization—or simply drop off a pack of diapers at our office. Every donation helps ensure local children have the essentials they need.

Our CASA on Main Bar Crawl & Co****le Tournament has been postponed.

While we were looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend, we made the difficult decision to reschedule the event so we can create the fun, community-filled fundraiser it was meant to be.

The good news is that this event is not canceled. We're already working on a new date and can't wait to share it with you soon!

Thank you to everyone who registered, our incredible sponsors, participating businesses, and our community for supporting Southeast CASA and the children we serve. Your support means the world to us.

The Headlines Change. Our Commitment to Children Doesn't.

When a story of child abuse or neglect makes the news, our hearts break. But not every child becomes a headline. Every day, children in our own communities experience abuse and neglect, and many of their stories are never told publicly.

When the headlines fade, the court hearings continue. Children still need someone to show up, attend school meetings, build trusting relationships, and advocate for their best interests.

That's where CASA volunteers and supporters step in.

Every child deserves a consistent adult advocating for their safety, well-being, and the goal of a safe, permanent home. Whether you choose to volunteer, donate, host a drive, or share our mission, your support helps ensure children in Southeast South Dakota have someone in their corner.

We always love seeing Velma walk through our office doors and show us the beautiful creations she and the sewing club have made. Each quilt and bear is made with care and provides warmth, comfort, and a little extra love to the children and families we serve through our Diaper Depot.
