Morning Announcements
Today is Day 1. The OP schedule for today is 7th & 8th grade band and orchestra & 6th grade chorus.
Need a space to get your homework finished? Come to Pennwood's Homework Club in room 125 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-4 pm starting October 4th. Be sure to know your late bus number or have a ride home. See you there!
Pennwood, this as a reminder that tomorrow is our GOLD day to support childhood cancer. We have three students on our own middle school campus fighting this terrible disease. Wear gold or Yellow tomorrow with your donation of one dollar. Of course you are welcome to donate more if possible. All the proceeds will go towards our families. Your donation will be collected in the morning at the top of the ramp and you will receive a gold ribbon to proudly wear throughout the day.
The Pennwood Lightweight Football Team opened their season with a win yesterday as they defeated Sandburg 26 to 8. The Falcons were fired up and were led by Quarterback Trent Becker who scored a nice touchdown on a QB keep. The 3-headed monster at running back consisting of Wyatt Minton, Angelo Renzi, and Dylan Reller were running fast and fearless as all 3 scored touchdowns, with Wyatt Minton adding a 2-point conversion as well. The offensive lineman who dominated the line of scrimmage were: Jake Mulray, Brady Flynn, Shane Mulvey, John Celli, Jackson Dean, and Tyce Lentz. Outstanding performances on defense were given by: Casey Shannon, Daimian Frascella, Noah Kravitz, Landon Ruf, and Dylan Sembrot. Congratulations to everyone on the team. Be at practice after school today. Teachers, please dismiss all members of the heavyweight football team today at 2:20 for their game.

Please dismiss both the soccer and field hockey teams at 1:45 for their away game this afternoon. Players, you should be checking in with your D block teacher to get the work that you will be missing.
