Join Us for a Community Celebration! 🎉

Lower Makefield Township recently received a donation from The Aliver Foundation for two outdoor AED boxes to be placed in Memorial Park and Macclesfield Park. Additionally, the Township secured a grant through our insurance provider, Delaware Valley Insurance Trusts, to purchase additional outdoor AED boxes along with new AEDs and bleeding control kits. The Township remains committed to proactively investing in emergency preparedness and community-focused public safety initiatives.

📅📌Please join us for an event on Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Memorial Park (1950 Woodside Road) to see the new equipment, meet Lower Makefield first responders, and learn more about this public safety initiative.

25th Anniversary of September 11 Remembrance Ceremonies

On September 11, 2026, Lower Makefield Township will come together at the Garden of Reflection to honor and remember the lives lost 25 years ago.

𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 – 𝟴:𝟯𝟬 𝗮.𝗺.
The ceremony will follow the timeline of September 11, 2001, with the tolling of a memorial bell at each significant moment. The names of the 18 Bucks County residents and all Pennsylvanians who lost their lives will be read, along with remarks from community leaders.

🕯️𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 – 𝟲:𝟬𝟬 𝗽.𝗺.
Join us for an evening of reflection, remembrance and unity, followed by a candle-lighting ceremony honoring those whose lives were lost.

The Garden of Reflection will remain open throughout the day for quiet reflection and self-guided visits. We invite our community to come together, remember, and honor the lives forever changed by September 11, 2001.
