Here is an interesting postcard from 1908, writing about a fire-less cooker. The first electric stove for household use was invented in 1905, so not many people,  most likely, had them by 1908. Must have been a big curiosity.

Good Morning ! So much is happening these days. It’s the beginning of good school vacation, everything is turning green and in 1 week, on April 25th, it’s Independent Bookstore Day.

WE HAVE POWER !! Phew that was a long wait ! But look at those blue skies. Can you believe that just 4 days ago 20 inches of snow fell here. The melting is almost as surprising as the volume of snow.
