Ranga Bondada

Ranga Bondada I’m running, as candidate for the Washington State House, representing the 48th District.,because I care deeply about this district and the challenges we face

I’m not a career politician. I’m a neighbor, a father, and someone who’s lived the journey of struggle and hope. I was born in a small village in India—with no electricity or clean water. But I believed in hard work and education, which eventually led me to earn a master’s degree and build a career in software engineering. I came to Bellevue 25 years ago with just $50 and a dream—and this communit

y made that dream real. Now, it’s time for me to give back. I’ve led nonprofit work that brought people together—organizing blood drives, helping underserved communities, and building connection through arts and culture. I’ve seen up close what our community needs—and where we’re falling short. I’m running because I care deeply about this district and the challenges we face:
Education must be fully funded for every child. Housing must be affordable—Bellevue’s average rent is now over $2,400/month. Mental health services need real investment. Transit and infrastructure must improve to reduce congestion. And we must stay committed to bold climate action. As an immigrant, I’ve seen firsthand the fear and harm caused by anti-immigrant policies—and I will stand firmly against them, including harmful executive orders. This campaign is about all of us. It’s about building a future where every voice is heard, every family has opportunity, and no one is left behind. I ask for your support, your trust, and your vote—not just to represent you, but to work for you—every single day.
