America does not need to follow the likes of Venezuela. They had a democracy and now have a dictatorship. People of Venezuela voted for candidates who promised the most benefits from the government with no plan on how to pay for those benefits while draining the government of its funds. They taxed the rich who provided jobs and a means to help others so much that the wealthy left their country. One group of people cannot bear the financial burden for all. Our founders were leaders who sacrificed much to create a system focused on the common good. They had businesses, farms, and families and they risked everything to build a limited government unlike any other. Our limited government and financial responsibility produced the richest and strongest nation the world has ever known. A free society depends on citizens who understand that rights come with responsibilities, that prosperity is created through work and innovation, not government programs. When a nation forgets those lessons, the government starts taking control of the lives of its people. We are a great nation where we value individual responsibility, economic freedom, and constitutional restraint. America needs to learn from the tragedy of Venezuela. They were once a great nation of freedom and prosperity. Now they live under dictatorship. Vote for freedom. Elect Republican candidates.
