Did you know? A group of flamingos is called a "flamboyance," reflecting their vibrant color and social behavior.

Laugh for the Day: There were two elderly people living in a Florida mobile home park. He was a widower and she a widow. They had known one another for a number of years.

One evening there was a community supper in the big activity center. The two were at the same table, across from one another. As the meal went on, he made a few admiring glances at her and finally gathered his courage to ask her, “Will you marry me?”

After about six seconds of ‘careful consideration,’ she answered. “Yes. Yes, I will.”

The meal ended and, with a few more pleasant exchanges, they went to their respective places. The next morning, he was troubled. “Did she say ‘yes’ or did she say ‘no’?” He couldn’t remember. Try as he would, he just could not recall. Not even a faint memory. With trepidation, he went to the telephone and called her. First, he explained that he didn’t remember as well as he used to. Then he reviewed the lovely evening past.

As he gained a little more courage, he inquired, “When I asked if you would marry me, did you say ‘Yes’ or did you say ‘No’?”

He was delighted to hear her say, “Why, I said, ‘Yes, yes I will’ and I meant it with all my heart.” Then she continued, “I am so glad that you called because I couldn’t remember who had asked me.”

Did you know? Dragonflies are incredibly successful hunters
Lions, often called apex predators, succeed in roughly 20–25% of hunts. Dragonflies succeed close to 90% of the time. They accomplish this by computing where prey will be (not where it is) a predictive hunting strategy that neuroscientists are actively studying.
Why It Matters:
Dragonflies can track a single target in a swarm of thousands and adjust their flight path in real time. Their four wings operate independently, giving them aerial precision no other insect can match.

Laugh for the Day: Frank had been going to the same barber for over 40 years. One day, a young barber was filling in and asked, “How would you like your haircut today, sir?”

Frank replied, “In silence.”

Laugh for the Day: Herbert decided to take up jogging to improve his health. Every morning, he jogged around the park, and every morning, he got more winded. One day, his neighbor, George, asked him how his new fitness routine was going.

Herbert: “I feel great! I do a 5-mile run every day.”

George: “That’s impressive, Herbert! What keeps you motivated?”

Herbert grinned. “There’s a bakery halfway. I run 2.5 miles for the donuts, then I jog back home to burn them off.”

Laugh for the Day: A guy goes into a company for a job interview. The interviewer asks him, “What would you consider to be your biggest weakness?”

The guy thinks for a minute and says, “I’m honest with everyone. I don’t know how to be anything other than completely honest, no matter what someone asks me."

The interviewer says, “I don’t really see how honesty could be considered a weakness. In fact, I think it’s a great strength!”

The guy looks the interviewer right in the eye and says, “I don’t really care what you think.”

Laugh for the Day: Tim decided to tie the knot with his long-time girlfriend. One evening, after the honeymoon, he was out in the garage organizing his golfing equipment.

His wife came to the door and after a long period of silence, she said, “Tim, I've been thinking, now that we're married, maybe it's time you quit golfing. You spend so much time on the course. I’m sure you could probably get a good price for your clubs.”

Tim got a horrified look on his face.

His wife said, “Darling, what's wrong?” Tim shook his head and said, “For a minute there, you started to sound like my ex-wife.”

“Ex-wife!” she screamed, “I didn't know you were married before!”

He gave her a pointed look and said, “I wasn't.”

Laugh for the Day: My wife asked me to whisper dirty things in her ear last night.

I simple said, "Kitchen, bathroom, living room", and that's how the fight started.

Laugh for the Day; I walked into the kitchen today to find my blonde wife looking very confused while holding a jar of pickles.

“What’s wrong?” I asked her.

She replied, “This jar of pickles says to store it in a cool, dark location.”

I said, “Okay, how about in the fridge?”

She said, “No, silly, there’s a little light inside.”
