A big round of applause to Jalilah Le’Cruise, 15 (right), of Saunders High School, crowned Yonkers Idol, and Cadence Toro (left), 13, of Robert Halmi High School, named Yonkers Junior Idol!

Jalilah chose "Mary Did You Know?" as her final song, and Cadence sang, "I Am Changing" from Broadway's Dreamgirls.

Knicks icon Clyde Frazier visited Stew Leonard’s in Yonkers today to congratulate the YMA girls basketball team on capturing the State Championship. Frazier spoke with the players about their incredible accomplishment, shared words of encouragement and reflected on an unforgettable season of basketball in New York.

Hosted by Mayor Mike Spano, the City of Yonkers, and The 914 Collective, nearly 1,000 fans packed the waterfront last night to cheer on Team USA. 🇺🇸⚽️

From the giant screen and live DJ to the food vendors and nonstop energy from the crowd, it was an incredible night to kick off the World Cup. And Team USA’s 4 to 1 win made it even better.

Thanks to everyone who came out and made the waterfront the place to be.
