We are dedicated to providing independence and equal rights to individuals with disabilities in the local community of Westchester, New York.

Teresa Richardson loves her job. As a service coordinator in Westchester Disabled on the Move's Nursing Home Transition and Diversion Program, Teresa helps people find the support they need to live at home independently.

Linda Hicks is a service coordinator for Westchester Disabled on the Move's Nursing Home Transition and Diversion Program. Without Linda's help, people who need support might otherwise be forced to live in a nursing home, but Linda helps coordinate services like housing, disability benefits, healthcare and medical equipment and other services that allow them to remain at home.

Linda's work saves taxpayer dollars while keeping people at home, living independently.

We’re proud to officially welcome Westchester Disabled on the Move to its new home at One Executive Boulevard in Yonkers. 💙

Local dignitaries from Westchester County and the City of Yonkers gathered to celebrate the move to a newly renovated, fully accessible medical office building that will provide a more modern and accessible space for both employees and clients.

This exciting next chapter reflects WDOM’s continued commitment to advocating for and supporting people with disabilities throughout our community.
