A bit of History about your neighborhood, Runyon Heights…

A fence and a strip of land at the end of Moultrie Avenue, among others, historically separated Runyon Heights from neighboring areas as a form of racial segregation. Despite these barriers, the neighborhood emerged as a thriving community for the middle-class Black population, demonstrating remarkable resilience and solidarity!!!
