It was truly a joy to spend time with the Carolina Republican Coalition this week.

A special thank you to Naomi and Chloe for organizing such a classy event and for Naomi’s gracious hospitality. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my heart, discuss my F.R.E.E. platform, and answer thoughtful questions from engaged citizens who care deeply about the future of South Carolina and our nation.

Part two- Why do candidates not complete voter guide questionnaires?

Yet again- only 2 out of 6 candidates took the time to be transparent. Voters should know who they are trusting with their vote.

It was an absolute joy to be at Freedom Farm Fest surrounded by people who are passionate about keeping South Carolina and America FREE. Thank you Fourth District Republican Club, 98.9 WORD, First Monday and the Hudson family for hosting.

One of my favorite moments of the night was reading the South Carolina Republican Creed together. The line that always stands out to me is the last one:

“I am a FREE American."

For too long, we've accepted things that should never be normal….out-of-control spending, massive debt, unelected bureaucrats making rules, and government reaching deeper into our daily lives.

We don't have to accept that.

It's time to restore common sense, cut reckless spending, end government overreach, and protect the freedoms that make America exceptional.

The only thing standing between freedom and government control is citizens willing to stand up and say:

"I am a FREE American."

Thank you, Palmetto Fest, for a wonderful Saturday afternoon meeting citizens from around Sumter. Events like these create opportunities for longer conversations and meaningful discussions with voters.

We were able to talk about this campaign, why we entered the race when we did, and how God‘s timing is always perfect.

Thank you Oconee County Republican Men and Oconee County Republican Women for hosting the 'Candidate Meet and Greet BBQ' at South Cove County Park.

One of the many highlights was meeting a young voter who displayed a deep understanding of the U.S. Senate race and had well-formed opinions. When he said, 'After doing my research, I believe you're the best candidate,' it was particularly heartwarming.

This kind of engaged citizenship, especially in young voters, is what we're seeing more of in South Carolina. Keep spreading the message!
