Three years ago today, we opened the gates to Peyton Parker Lane Playground.
What once started as heartbreak, hope, and a dream became a place where children of ALL abilities could finally play together โ without barriers, without limits, and without being left behind.
Over the last three years, this playground has become so much more than equipment and surfacing. It has become laughter echoing across the park, friendships formed between children who may never have crossed paths otherwise, parents seeing their child included for the very first time, and a community learning what true inclusion looks like.
Every ramp, swing, musical note, zip line ride, and shaded bench tells a story.
A story of Peyton.๐
A story of Parker.๐
A story of Lane.๐
A story of love turned into action.
Today, families travel from all over to visit Peyton Parker Lane Playground at Mincks Park. Kids run, roll, swing, climb, laugh, and belong here every single day โ exactly as it was intended.
Looking back at these grand opening photos reminds us how many people came together to make this happen. Volunteers. Donors. Families. Friends. Advocates. Believers. THANK YOU!
Three years later, the mission still stands strong:
Every child deserves the freedom of play.
Thank you to everyone who helped build this special place and to every family who continues to fill it with life, LOVE and joy.
Happy 3rd Birthday,
Peyton Parker Lane Playground!
