We’re excited to announce that Bob Ruth Ford is partnering with Ford Motor Company and York Habitat for Humanity for the 2026 Ford Building Together: Summer of Community Impact! 🔨

Join us on Saturday, June 27 from 10AM–1PM for our FREE Touch-A-Truck community event benefiting Habitat for Humanity. This event is all about bringing our community together while helping support local families and housing initiatives through a materials drive.

Come explore fire trucks, police vehicles, dump trucks, and more while enjoying a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. Admission is free, and donations of building materials and supplies are greatly appreciated to help support Habitat for Humanity’s mission right here in our community.

We got the whole Core Krew together in one photo! 🛠

The Krew is made up of dedicated volunteers who show up week after week, helping keep our job sites running smoothly. They’re familiar with the Habitat way and often step in as extra leaders, supporting both staff and new volunteers along the way.

This group is a great fit for those with flexible schedules or anyone with extra time who wants to give back in a meaningful way. We're so grateful for this Krew and all their incredible recent work on Phase 3 of the Chesnut Street Revitalization Project.

Over 4,000 volunteer hours are need to build a place someone can finally call home. Thanks to dedicated volunteers, Habitat homes stay affordable and families get a foundation for a better future.

Not all Habitat volunteers swing hammers, some walk shoulder to shoulder with families on the journey to homeownership. 💙🏡

It’s a challenging trek for homeownership applicants, and Family Services Committee volunteers such as Ed Thibault are there to walk alongside them and turn dreams into reality.
