We’re grateful to Senator Carolyn Comitta for her continued leadership on the Beagle Bill and for writing a powerful PennLive opinion piece calling on the Pennsylvania House to bring it to a vote. This bipartisan legislation passed the Senate unanimously. Now it’s time for the House to act. 🐶

The Beagle Bill would increase transparency in animal testing, block state funding for cruel experiments.

BIG WIN FOR PUPPIES! 🐶🎉 Delaware is the 10th state to prohibit the sale of puppies in pet stores! That means 20% of the country has now acted to shut down the puppy mill-to-pet-store pipeline. Pennsylvania should be #11. It’s time to pass Victoria’s Law. ❤️🐾

Pets are not commodities. And now 10 states have made it illegal to sell puppy mill puppies in pet stores.

For decades, Pennsylvania lawmakers have allowed live pigeon shoots to continue despite overwhelming public opposition. A bill to end this cruelty is still pending yet again, but live birds are still being launched from boxes and shot and wounded for contests. Tell your legislators: Stop protecting pigeon shoots.
