Today members participated in the annual West Manchester Township Police Department annual golf tournament. While no awards were taken home this year, a great time was still had. Thank you to Chief Laughman for sponsoring two holes and allowing members to represent the department in this annual event.

We are honored to be offered the opportunity to provide stand-by services for various artists that come into the York Fairgrounds each year.

West Manchester Township Fire Department would like to recognize and thank several local businesses for their generous donations over the past two weekends. Their support helped provide lunch for our newest firefighters as they participated in orientation.

A special thank you to Genova's for donating pizza, Wawa for providing subs, and Giant for donating gift cards to purchase additional lunch items.

We are incredibly grateful for the continued support these businesses provide to our department and the emergency services community. Partnerships like these help us better serve our residents, and we truly appreciate their generosity.

This weekend, we welcomed the remaining 6 of our 15 firefighters hired through the Township’s newly approved program to provide weekday daytime staffing for our department.

As with last weekend, our new personnel completed a comprehensive orientation that included department expectations, policies and procedures, touring varies facilities within the township, driver certifications, and hands-on training with our Engine, Rescue, and Tower apparatus.

We are excited to begin this is new chapter for the West Manchester Township Fire Department and proudly welcome our newest firefighters. They will work alongside our dedicated volunteer members as we continue to strengthen our service delivery and provide the highest level of emergency service to our residents and community.
