May Arrests made by Warrant Apprehension Unit

On May 27th 2026 the York County Sheriff's Office Warrant Apprehension Unit executed a warrant service in the first block of Lisburn Rd in Warrington Twp. Deputies were attempting to apprehend Matthew Moody on an outstanding felony Court of Common Pleas Bench Warrant for fleeing or attempting to elude.
As deputies arrived at the residence, they observed Moody to be sitting inside of a vehicle parked in the driveway. Moody immediately began to flee on foot into a thick wood lined area on the property. Deputies gave chase, and apprehended Moody shortly after he entered the wooded area.
Moody was booked at YCSO Central Processing on his warrant, and received new criminal charges as a result of his conduct during the warrant service.

On May 22nd 2026, the York County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Apprehension Unit executed a joint warrant service with the York City Police Department in the 1200 Blk of Freysville Rd. in Hellam Township. Deputies were seeking Brianna McCaffery on an outstanding MDJ Criminal Warrant for (F1) Robbery from York City. Deputies established contact with McCaffery in the residence, and she was taken into custody without issue and transported to YCSO Central Processing for booking.
McCaffery was then arraigned in front of the Honorable MDJ Harteis, and received an unsecure bail in the amount of $50,000.
