Unfortunately we are still without power and we will not be attending the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market today. We’ve have to tend to our generators keeping our fridges and freezers going. Also access to our main meat locker is too slick to back to with our market freezer trailer. See y’all next Saturday!

Early morning fog being burnt off by the first rays of sunshine. Peace and serenity! We are very blessed to be custodians of such magnificent animals in our own little piece of paradise in South Carolina. (Only 20 minutes from Rock Hill)

Our first “Red Dog” of 2024 was born today. Mama ( #1512) is usually the first one to give birth each year. She is an incredible cow, who consistently produces healthy and strong calves. For the first few days after birth, cow and calf remain a little removed from the main herd. By day 3, they’re back in with the main herd and, as the new calves arrive, a “nursery” is created by the mamas. Come see and find out more about these amazing animals, our National Mammal.
