I would like to offer my sincerest congratulations to everyone who ran, won, and participated in yesterday’s Primary Election!

Without passionate people stepping up and engaging, none of the work we do in government would be possible. We succeed together when we engage together, and I am excited for us to move forward with respect and unity after another strong demonstration of our democracy.

The General Election will be held November 3rd, 2026.

Pa. state Rep. Carol Hill-Evans will host a press conference with YouthBuild students and faculty as they visit the capitol for their advocacy and leadership day.

The YouthBuild Program works with disadvantaged youth to give students the opportunity to earn their high school education and develop needed skills for the workplace and career development. Additionally, YouthBuild students participate in community development activities by building affordable housing for low-income families, develop needed leadership skills, participate in community service activities, and earn credit toward post-secondary education scholarships through participation in AmeriCorps.

I, State Rep. Carol Hill-Evans, joined Auditor General Tim DeFoor to recognize April as Financial Literacy Awareness Month in Pennsylvania and highlight the importance of expanding financial education across the Commonwealth. As a community, we have a responsibility to better equip students and families with the essential financial skills they need to thrive. Such as managing credit, avoiding predatory lending, and planning for future expenses, all starting as early as grade school.

In addition to Auditor General DeFoor and myself, speakers at today’s kickoff event included Ellie Lamison, workforce readiness coordinator for Central York High School, and Dr. Constance Craig-Mason, financial planner and CEO of Concierge Financial Advisory. I cannot thank them enough for their participation and expertise.
