☕️ 🎉 ❤️ If you know the staff of Olivia’s House, you know we are rarely speechless, but this week, we were truly at a loss for words. The amazing team at the new 7 Brew Coffee in Hanover donated 47,000 drinks to local community members and businesses and crafted 9,000 drinks during "Caffeine for a Cause." Together, the 7 Brew crew and our incredible community raised over $21,000 for Olivia’s House!!!!! We are overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone who participated, donated, shared, and supported this incredible effort. Your generosity will help bring healing to many grieving children and families. Thank you, 7 Brew, for cultivating kindness around our community. Be sure to visit this amazing crew for their Grand Opening on Monday, August 31! They are the BEST!!! ☕️ 🎉 ❤️

Our Hanover center is all set and ready for our fall Hearts Can Heal program. . .but before we can officially begin, we must call in some of the most important members of our team: our Companions!! This week, we get to meet with nine incredible Companion volunteers (including some from our recent training!) who have committed the next ten weeks to helping hearts heal at Olivia’s House. We are so grateful for this crew and all of our volunteers that make our programs possible!

On the way to her first day of school, a little girl tells her mom that she can’t WAIT to find a best friend. Her mom cautions and reminds that real friendship takes time to grow, so they begin to list off all of the traits that you would want in a best friend (and in yourself!). Donated by our friends at Books a Million, “How to Spot a Best Friend” by Bea Birdsong is a perfect book for a young child navigating new friendships!

The Grief and Loss Lending Library at Olivia’s House is a sight to behold! Each shelf is filled with the most unique, age-appropriate, and up-to-date resources, and it is our honor to share them with the community!
