The article demonstrates the importance of collaboration between cities and county economic development corporations - and the great work being done by YCDC [facebook link] to help the City of Y ork in Building a Thriving Community.

📢 A Reminder as We Head Into Sign Season

As we get into campaign, contractor, event, and garage sale season, we want to remind residents about where yard signs may be placed.

🏡 All yard signs must be placed on personal property. Generally, this is the portion of the lawn behind the sidewalk.

🚫 The area between the sidewalk and the street is city right-of-way. Signs are not permitted in the city right-of-way and may be removed.

The YASWA is jointly owned by York County and the City of York. The disposal site serves the City of York, and York County communities. Site facilities include landfill, transfer station, equipment storage building, construction and demolition disposal.
