Today is National Grief Awareness Day. We honor and acknowledge all who are carrying the weight of loss, including those silently grieving after an abortion. You are not alone, and your healing matters.

Human Life Services offers Surrendering the Secret, a confidential and compassionate support group for women who have experienced abortion. This powerful series is designed to bring hope, healing, and freedom. The next class begins in September.

Prayer changes things. 🙏

At Human Life Services, we are grateful for a community that faithfully lifts our ministry, our clients, and our staff in prayer. Your prayers make a meaningful difference as we seek to serve families with compassion, hope, and the love of Christ.

This month's prayer requests:
🙏 Praise as the Lord is filling our vacant staffing roles. Pray for Lori Broberg and Emma Green as they train in their roles of Client Services Coordinator and Scheduler.
🙏 Praise for the 7 babies that were born in the past month.
🙏 Pray for our staff who’s home and work life are both filled with tremendous amounts of change and pressure for the next several months. May we continue to find peace and stillness in Christ.

HLS was honored to participate once again this year in McKinley K-8 School’s Back-to-School night!! Four hundred students and parents were excited to meet their teachers, play our HLS duck game, and collect supplies needed for their first day back along with other cool HLS branded items. We are so grateful for the opportunity to meet more of our neighbors and share with them the many ways HLS is able to support them. Have a blessed first day back to school everyone!!

From Volunteer to Staff!

God has a beautiful way of preparing us for what comes next…

For more than two years, Lori faithfully served as a volunteer at Human Life Services as our Client Services Coordinator, walking alongside women with compassion, sharing the hope of the Gospel, and encouraging families through every season. Today, we're thrilled to welcome her to our staff as our new Client Services Coordinator.

Lori says God showed her that being pro-life meant more than holding a conviction. It meant living it out. That calling led her to Human Life Services, where she discovered a passion for mentoring women, building relationships, and pointing others to Christ.

Please join us in congratulating Lori on this exciting new chapter. We are grateful for her servant's heart and look forward to all God will continue to do through her ministry.

HLS was recently blessed when a young lady named Anna reached out to us about creating a prayer garden for us on our property. Anna participates in the American Heritage Girls group through her Church, and their program guided her to create a full nine page thorough Project Development Plan, organized teams of volunteers to assist her over the course of three days, and invested her own funds to complete the project! The Lord is sure to do great things with Anna's life, as she is already seeking to use her gifts and abilities to point people to prayer and to the Lord. We can't thank you and your parents enough Anna! Thank you for blessing our organization for years to come through this beautiful garden!!

Last month, HLS was represented once again at the York Revs Stadium for their annual health fair. Our team of staff and volunteers were able to directly engage approximately 150 people…what a blessing to get to share about our services with the community! There were multiple healthcare agencies represented including a pediatric dentist, home care agencies, and Wellspan Health. Thank you for your support and prayers as we continue in our mission to make a difference in the York community.
