National Junior Honor Society Induction Ceremony-Tonight, 6/2/26 @6:30pm. We are proud to celebrate the achievements of our 8th
Grade National Junior Honor Society inductees. This year’s induction ceremony will be held at Van Cortlandtville Elementary School at 6:30 pm, on Tuesday, June 2nd. Student inductees need to arrive by 6:00 pm.

An important reminder for our 8th grade families: permission slips for our upcoming trip to Spins Hudson were due today, Monday the 18th. We have extended the deadline to tomorrow, Tuesday the 19th. Students should submit their permission slips to their homeroom teacher. Have a great night!

***Reminder the NYS ELA Assessment will take place tomorrow, Wednesday April 8th and Thursday April 9th***

*The NYS ELA will begin at approximately 9:15am (after arrival).
*All students will be taking the Computer Based Test (CBT).
*The first instructional period of the day will begin at approximately 11:45 am.
*Any student who has had a refusal letter sent in by a parent/guardian will need to sit and read quietly in their homeroom classes.
*All students will need their Chromebooks fully charged.
*Both testing days will operate on a modified schedule.
