This is an opportunity to listen, learn, and connect with regional experts and advocates working every day to support survivors and victims across our community. Resources, education, and support services will be shared, and the event is free and open to the public.

Yesterday was National Missing Children’s Day.

Every missing child alert represents a family living through fear, uncertainty, and precious lost time.

That is why I continue supporting the vision of the Guardian Network App https://www.wavy.com/news/virginia/proposed-state-legislation-aims-to-fund-app-for-missing-persons-alerts/

Virginia has already led the nation with alerts like the Ashanti Alert, Codi Alert, and Marcus Alert. We should continue building on that leadership.

I remain hopeful Governor Abigail Spanberger will include the Guardian Network App in this years budget because when a child is missing, every second matters.
