Kendall County Law Enforcement Explorers

Kendall County Law Enforcement Explorers Government Organization

The KCSO Explorers program is a hands-on program open to young men and women who have completed the 6th grade, ages 14 through 20 years old, that are interested in a career in law enforcement or a related field in the criminal justice system.

11/20/2020

The KCSO Law Enforcement Explorers Program allows young adults to experience Law Enforcement with hands-on involvement. Its purpose is to provide experiences to help young adults mature and to prepare them to become responsible adults. Law Enforcement Exploring is a career education program for anyone between the ages of 14 (who have graduated 8th grade) to 21.

This program offers young adults a personal awareness of the criminal justice system through training, practical experiences, competition, and other activities. Additionally, the program promotes personal growth through character development, respect for the rule of law, physical fitness, good citizenship, and patriotism.

Explorers are able to participate in ride-a-longs, help with different events, and interact with members of the community.

Have questions about the KCSO Explorers program or would like to join? Contact Deputy Kailus at 630-553-7500 x1167 or email [email protected]
