Kendall County

Kendall County The official page of Kendall County, Illinois. Kendall County was formed in 1841 and was largely a rural farming community until the 1990s.

Kendall County is part of the Chicago metropolitan area and was the fastest-growing county in the United States between 2000 and 2010. Most of the county’s population is in the northeast, and along the Fox River, which runs through the county's northwestern section. Many new subdivisions have been constructed in this county, which has produced considerable population growth. Southern Kendall County remains largely agricultural.
