Our Scholastic Book Fair is coming, and we're excited to offer eWallet, a safe and convenient cash-free way for students and families to shop for books and other favorites at the Fair. We had so much fun making our charcuterie donations into 2 versions of the Captain America Shield during our 1st day of Eat, Read, Create, Repeat today at YMS Library Summer Camp. We talked mysteries, created custom puzzles, and finished a 500 piece puzzle with just 3 minutes past the clock! Teamwork at its best today!

"Did you know that Yorkville students in grades 3 through 12 always have access to a digital library of ebooks and audiobooks. There is also an always available collection all summer long? Have a Yorkville Public Library card, you can add that account too. Yorkville CUSD #115 students just use their student ID # to log in after getting the Sora Reading App."

It would have been cool with 5 students, but we had over 30 kids have the best time, win amazing prizes, and geek out to the max for YMS Fandom Fest 2026! Our principal even took his photo with the Star Wars crew! Great day to be a middle school librarian!

On Monday, May the 4th, we are celebrating May the Force Be With You - Star Wars Day! Wear your favorite Star Wars Gear.
On Thursday, May 7th, we are having our Fandom Fest. Wear a costume for your favorite character from a book, manga, comic book series, show, or movie.
