Kendall County State’s Attorney’s Office has a full-time opening for the position of Administrative Assistant. Eligible candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, previous Law Office experience preferred, possess basic Windows 10 knowledge, strong organizational and oral communications skills, and be familiar with working in a professional environment.


Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and occasional Saturday’s. Resumes and professional references should be received no later than September 1, 2026.

The Kendall County Juvenile Justice Council and the Kendall County State’s Attorney’s Office are proud to announce that two scholarships were awarded at the Kendall County Board Meeting on July 21, 2026. Congratulations to Shane Downs who was awarded a $1,000 scholarship and to Emily Vollmer who was awarded a $500 scholarship.

These scholarships were made possible by the Juvenile Justice Council and were open to any graduating high school seniors residing in Kendall County to be applied towards higher education. The Council received numerous applications and thank you to everyone for their submissions. We wish the best of luck to Shane and Emily.
