Veterans Assistance Commission of Kendall County

Veterans Assistance Commission of Kendall County We help veterans...it's what we do. One benefit, however, that does require residency in Kendall County is the financial assistance program.

The Veterans Assistance Commission of Kendall County is dedicated to the military concept of 'service over self.' The staff files VA paperwork for benefits such as service-connected disability compensation, pension, healthcare enrollment, and burial/death benefits to name a few. The staff also has the ability to obtain a certified copy of the DD form 214 for veterans as well as medals and other m

ilitary records. The VACKC invites all veterans, regardless of their county of residence, to contact the office and set up an appointment to discuss their benefits. This is meant to give veterans a leg up if/when they have fallen on hard times. The VACKC has professional relationships with numerous other Kendall County departments, enabling it to help veterans in a multitude of situations or at least point them in the right direction.
