Dear Community:

Y115 is aware of a series of fraudulent emails (phishing/SPAM) circulating within our community that appear to come from our district. Please be advised that the district will never ask for your passwords or sensitive personal information via email. Please take the following precautions immediately when checking your inbox:

Do not click on links in emails from unknown or external senders.
Do not open or download attachments unless you were specifically expecting them from a verified source.
Verify the sender’s email address carefully, especially if the message requests sensitive information, a password reset, or urgent action.

The district’s IT Department is actively monitoring the situation and taking the necessary measures to proactively keep the district secure.

Football Schedule UPDATE:

As a result of the IHSA Heat Policy, we have made the following adjustments to our scheduled football games. Sophomores are postponed, and the varsity contest is pushed back to 7:30 p.m.

The schedule is as follows:

Friday, Sept. 4th
7:30 p.m. Varsity at Yorkville H.S.
*Gates will open at 6pm

Saturday, Sept. 5th
8:30 a.m. Freshman at Bolingbrook
10:30 a.m. Sophomore at Bolingbrook

Congratulations!

Two Y115 students have been selected as National Math Stars, joining a 2026 cohort of over 600 students from across the country.

⭐ Voyager Star - Srijesh Khatri (Bristol Bay Elementary School)
⭐ Pathfinder Stars - Rowen Littrell (Autumn Creek Elementary School

Each Star was chosen after a multi-stage evaluation of mathematical aptitude and eagerness to go deeper in STEM. Over the next ten years, through high school graduation, each will receive mentorship, funding for advanced math courses, STEM enrichment materials, and invitations to math competitions and summer camps.

Get those jammies ready, because we are back with our quarterly cozy fun! Our first Read Aloud Pajama Party of the 26-27 school year will take place on Thursday, September 3rd at 6:45pm. This will take place *on your couch* - which means you can wear your coziest pajamas and have a tasty snack while your family enjoys a read aloud and draw-along with our featured visitors.

This quarter, join us to "meet" *both!!!* Andy J. Pizza AND Sophie Miller, the creators of Invisible Things and their super cool follow-up book Mysterious Things. Don't forget your paper and pencil for the drawing portion of the experience, and at the event listen to find out how you can win a SIGNED copy of the book, too.

Friday Night Lights returns this week!

Y115 is excited to welcome all of our fans, students, and parents to the game on Friday. As a reminder, to enhance safety and streamline entry for all, Y115 utilizes a Bag Policy for all ticketed stadium events.

Allowed:
Clear bags
Small clutch purses (8" x 7" or smaller)
Diaper bags

Not Allowed:
Backpacks
Duffel bags
Oversized non-clear purses
