As Kendall County Republicans, we believe in limited government, fiscal responsibility, and protecting hardworking families. We are proud that Republicans hold the majority on the Kendall County Board and many local offices. And we’ve fought hard to keep county spending in check.

However, the truth is clear: Illinois property taxes remain unsustainable for our families, seniors, and young homeowners.

In Kendall County:
🏠 Median home: $330K–$350K
πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’« Median tax bill: $8,000+

Where the money goes on average across the county:
πŸ““ Schools: 68% to 75%
πŸ›ƒ County, Township, Roads, Municipal & Other: 26% to 32%

While our Republican-led County Board works to deliver efficient services, the overall burden, driven heavily by state mandates and school spending, continues to climb.

This is not sustainable.

Our Path Forward as Kendall County Republicans:
βœ… Continue fighting in Springfield for stronger property tax caps and relief
βœ… Push for school spending transparency and accountability
βœ… Expand homestead exemptions for families and seniors
βœ… Demand spending restraint at every level, including our own

We know local Republican leaders are working hard, but the system is broken. Real relief requires bold action across all levels of government. Kendall County families deserve better.

REMINDER: 1st Property Tax Installment is Due June 9, 2026

We are excited to introduce Jay Klei as our new Sergeant at Arms of the Kendall County Republican Central Committee!

Jay’s dedication to our party runs deep. He began his political journey as a ballot judge, then served as a poll watcher in dozens of precincts across Kendall County. For the past three years as a Precinct Committeeman, Jay has been a true workhorse β€” delivering the highest Republican voter turnout in the 2026 primary. His motivation is simple: make a real difference and never quit.

Jay leads with reliability, humility, and a genuine heart for service. The KCRCC is stronger and more effective with Jay on the board, and we are grateful he answered the call to serve in this important role.

Thank you, Jay, for your hard work and commitment!

Excited to introduce Scott Harmon as the Treasurer of the Kendall County Republican Central Committee!

Scott is a proven leader who gets results. He served as Treasurer before and was voted right back in because of his outstanding work and rock-solid commitment to fiscal responsibility. When it comes to managing our party’s finances with precision and integrity, Scott delivers every single time.

A dedicated community advocate, Scott stays deeply involved in his neighborhood and works hard to strengthen Kendall County from the ground up. He’s a steady, results-driven force who shows up, gets the job done, and always puts our community and our party first.

We’re thrilled to have Scott back in this critical role. His experience and dedication will keep our organization strong, transparent, and built to win.
